John Marc Nashmy Sr.

John Marc Nashmy Sr, 74, of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Bergenfield, suddenly left this world on December 11, 2022. Best friend of 52 years and devoted husband of nearly 49 years, to Patricia Fager Nashmy and fur-dad to little Snuggles and Penny. Beloved father of Caroline (Colin) Fratrik and John Marc Nashmy Jr. John adored his grandaughters Alexandra and Kimberly Nashmy and is the cherished brother in law, cousin, uncle and friend to many.

From a very young age, John was a "Ham" radio operator and had the pleasure of speaking with people all over the world, some of whom became lifelong friends. He was also a proud and active member for many years with Bergen County OEM and R.A.C.E.S.

John was employed by Atomizing Systems in Ho Ho Kus. Prior to this, he worked with Milcots Safer World Group and spent many years with Kratos (formerly Henry Brothers).

In honor of John's love for animals, if you'd like to do something for the family, they'd be most appreciative of donations made in Johns memory, to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. or to St. Jude's, which he donated to often.

There will be a celebration of his life scheduled for a later date.
