John R. O'Neill

John R. O'Neill, 86, of Bergenfield died on November 20, 2013. Born in Jersey City, he was a Security Guard at Bergenfield High School and an Army Veteran of WWII. He was predeceased by his first wife Joan G. O'Neill. He is the devoted husband of Annette O'Neill (nee Robinson). Beloved father of Deborah Donohue and her husband Michael, Dawn Bond and her husband Richard, Stephen O'Neill, Patrick O'Neill and his wife Nikki and Kevin O'Neill and his wife Theresa. Loving grandfather of Michael and Samantha Donohue, Daniel O'Neill, Kaitlin and Douglas Bond and Lauren O'Neill and great-grandfather of Madison Donohue. Visiting on Friday from 4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11 AM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
