John R. Pavese

PAVESE, John R. of Bergenfield formerly of Emerson entered eternal rest on June 15, 2009 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was predeceased by his loving parents Dominick and Dorothy Pavese and his cherished daughter Terry. He is survived by his beloved Marie. Devoted father to Lois Sullivan, Sue Dimaria and her husband Paul, Dawn Domico and her husband Jim, Cheryl Palent and her husband Brad. Doting stepfather to Bern McGrane and his wife Nicki, Ken McGrane and his wife Jenny. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, loving pops to Marissa, B.J., Kenny and Matthew McGrane. Dear brother to Dorothy Clark, Tom Pavese, Bill Pavese, Joe Pavese and his wife June, Steve Pavese and his wife Patti and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was a successful businessman and owned his own steel fabrication company for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He faced his death like he lived his life with determination, courage, dignity and integrity. His passing has left a void in the lives of all he touched, especially his loved ones.
