Plescia, John S. on June 6, 2007 of Dumont, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a construction/maintenance worker for Int'l Union of Operating Engineers Union Local 15, New York, NY retiring in 1997. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a parishioner of St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill and a member of St. John's Council #1345 K of C, Dumont. Beloved husband of Rosemarie Plescia (nee Latino). Devoted father of Lisa Rios (her husband Isaac) and Louise Hoff (her husband Billy). Adored and loving grandfather of Erica Hoff, Dylan and Alyssa Rios. You will be loved and missed forever. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ on Saturday at 9AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill, NJ at 9:30 AM. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends Friday 5-9 PM.
