POLASTRO, John J. on December 11, 2013, of Edison, NJ. He was an Army veteran of WW2, and worked as a machine mechanic for Revlon, Inc, Metuchen. Beloved husband of the late Rose. Survived by his loving brother in law Carmine Paul, of Bergenfield; nieces Roxann Paul, Lorraine and Catherine Ann Pierson; and grandnephews Anthony and Michael LaPadula. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9am for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10am. Interment Madonna Cemetery, Ft. Lee. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
