John Yurkin

YURKIN, John of Waretown, NJ formerly of Bergenfield, passed away with his family at his side on May 7, 2010. Before retiring he was an electrical engineer for New York telephone, NY, NY. He was an Army veteran and a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Bergenfield. Beloved husband for 52 years of Hilda M. Yurkin (nee Rinder). Devoted father of John T., Robert and his wife Linda and Thomas and his wife Jackie. Loving brother of Ann Radich and Joseph Yurkin. Dear brother-in-law of Rita and Vinny Coppola. Cherished grandfather of Jackie, Bobby, Thomas, Jessica, Tyler, Kelsey, Kyle and Kristi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved pets Tigger and Comet. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, Wednesday at 9:30 AM for the funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Bergenfield, at 10 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
