Jose A. Hernandez, Jr:  (9/5/62-1/7/21)

Jose (Joey) Antonio Hernandez, Jr. age 58, formerly of the Bronx, NY, and a longtime resident of Bergenfield, NJ, departed this life on Thursday, January 7th 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Maxine Dormer, their daughter Rhiana Hernandez, his father, Jose Hernandez, Sr. and his mother, Carmen Navarro.

A graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School, Jose got his start at Manufacturers Hanover and launched a career in IT that spanned over 30 years as a Quality Assurance Manager for major corporations including, JPMorgan Chase, Scholastic Books, Columbia House/Sony, and TD Bank. An avid trekkie, sci-fi, and Marvel fan, Jose enjoyed collecting memorabilia, watching movies, listening to music and playing video games.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10 am – 11 am at Riewerts Memorial Home, Inc., 187 South Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ 7621.
