Jose Peralta

Jose R. Peralta, 71, a resident of Franklin Lakes, NJ passed away on April 19, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing.

Jose is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Mercedes (Zoila) Peralta, his three children, and five grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

He worked hard to provide for his family, but always made time for the things that mattered most to him - spending time with his loved ones, watching baseball games, coaching little league, and enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

Jose was known for his kind heart, infectious laugh, and positive outlook on life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Visitation and Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, April 23rd from 3-8pm at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, April 24th at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield.
