Jose V. Ruiz

RUIZ, Jose V. on November 5, 2011 of Bergenfield. Before retiring he was a dispatcher for the New York City Transit Authority where he worked for 25 years. He was an Army veteran and a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Bergenfield. Beloved husband of Maria. Devoted father of Nancy Ruiz-Gordon, Daisy Ruiz, Miriam Quinones, John Brown and Angelina Ruiz. Also survived by 3 sisters in Puerto Rico, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Wednesday at 9am for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,(stjude.org)Memphis, TN would be appreciated.
