Joseph A. Buda

Joseph A Buda of Bergenfield passed away on December 8, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Buda. Loving father of Vincent Buda and his wife Abby. Dear brother of Salvatore Buda and the late Rose Sakellarios. Cherished grandfather of Jessica and Matthew Hyde, Eric and Andrea Ceres, the late Joey Buda; great grandfather of Noah, A.J., Dima, and Leila; uncle of Donna, Michele, Denise, Sal Jr., and Jimmy. Joseph worked for the Bergenfield DPW for over 20 years. He was a longtime member of Church of the Ascension in New Milford, life member of the Fort Lee VFW Post #2342, past Commander of the American Legion Post #90 of Bergenfield and Cresskill, life member of the Bergenfield Elks Lodge #1477, member of AARP Chapter #4703, and member of the St. Johns Golden Age Club. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Monday at 8:30 AM for the Funeral Mass at Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30 AM. Entombment Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the VA Home in Paramus.
