Joseph E. Governale

Joseph E. Governale, 62, of Dumont passed away on December 20, 2016. Devoted father to the son he adored and showered with unconditional love, Joseph A. Governale and his wife Sharon. Beloved "father" to Jonathan and Justin Osborne and Joseph Cabezas. Loving fiance to Donamarie Jones. Best friend to R.J. his faithful boxer. Joe will be remembered for the great love he had for his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan who loved the NY Mets, NY Giants, and the Semi-Pro football team the Jersey Boxers, that he partially owned. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 4-8pm. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 2451 Crystal Dr., Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
