KOBER, Joseph P., Sr., 72, on March 28, 2010 of Toms River formerly of Dumont. He was an Equipment Operator for the Dept. of Public Works in Norwood retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Dumont Elks Lodge, Norwood Fire Dept. and the American Legion in Toms River. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Kober. Devoted father of Joseph and his wife Colleen and John and his fiancAC. Melissa. Dearest companion of Theresa Sweeney. Dear brother of Eleanor Ewings, Robert and James. Loving grandfather of Keira and Declan. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday at 9AM for the funeral Blessing at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill at 10AM. Interment Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. Visiting Wednesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dumont Elks Lodge.
