Josephine D. Skowronski

Josephine Skowronski (nee Dumolo) of Bergenfield died peacefully at home on July 15, 2007. Born in Bronx, NY, she graduated from Morris High School and received an Associate Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. An avid lover of gardening and world travel, she also enjoyed cooking and bowling. She was a member of the Bergenfield Garden Club, the Women's Bocci Ball Club of Bergenfield and was a member of several bowling leagues. She worked for the New York Telephone Co. where she met her husband the late Vincent Skowronski. The couple moved to Bergenfield in 1959 where they raised their children Michael (and his wife Mary Ellen) of PA, Nanci of Alpine, Matthew of Virginia and Nina of Westwood. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Wednesday at 9AM for the Funeral Liturgy at Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 PM.
