Kathryn Stine

Kathryn Stine, a resident of Rileyville, PA for the past 11 years and formerly of Bergenfield, NJ died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years David Stine who died March 27, 1977. The couple married December 6, 1934. Born in Central City, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva Compel Krivonak. Kathryn was a kind and loving person. She believed in family and was always the first to offer her assistance to anyone in need. She loved her gardening, crocheting and traveling.

She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 6467, Bergenfield Memorial Post. Surviving are two sons David and wife Nancy of Lexington, KY and Michael and wife Ruth of Rileyville, PA; sisters Marie Buben and Susan Cicerelli both of Central City, PA, Eve Dollor of Delaware and Margaret Bender of Mount Pleasant, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral service on Tuesday, Oct 12th.at Riewerts Memorial Home Bergenfield.Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
