Kevin F. Smith

Kevin F. Smith, 65, of Bergenfield passed away on February 17, 2023. He owned a local machine shop in town. Kevin was very involved in local sports for 30 years where he coached not only his children but many others in Bergenfield. He coached basketball, soccer and softball with the Bergenfield PAL. He also coached baseball through Bergenfield Little League and received the 2022 Sportsman of the Year Award from the  league.

Kevin was son of the late Edna and John Smith. Devoted husband of Donna M. Smith. Beloved father of Kimberly Mehnert (husband William), Melissa Hegel (husband Steven), Michael (wife Alexandra) and Steven (wife Ashley) Smith. Loving grandfather of Liam, Lindsey, Alexis, Logan, Kevin, SJ, Kaitlyn and Colton. Also his beloved dog and best friend Reilly.

Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will meet at the funeral home on  Wednesday at 10 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11AM.
