Libero Rubbo

RUBBO, Libero on October 17, 2012 of Bergenfield. Born in Morcone, Italy, on March 1, 1938, he came to the US in 1954. Before retiring in 2003, he was a butcher for Beretta, Hackensack,(previously Ideal Sausage) for 50 years. He was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a former member of the Sons of Italy, all in Bergenfield. Beloved husband of Nicolina Pacina. Devoted father of Nancy Orsini and her husband Stephen and Carla Moschetto and her husband Chuck. Dear brother of Tina Rinaldi and her husband Raffaele, Carmine Rubbo and his wife Ada and the late Anna Fontana and her husband the late Santino. Loving grandfather of Stephen, Thomas, Christina and Ciana. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Monday at 9am for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10am. Entombment Garden of Memories, Washington Township.Visiting 7-9pm Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
