Lyn M. Toleno

Lyn M. Toleno (nee Hackett), 61, of Cresskill passed away on November 8, 2011 from complications relating to Hepatitis C. Married in 1972 to her husband Gary, and mother of her three loving daughters, Melissa McShane and her husband Bernard, Tammy Romero and her husband Pedro and Sarah Lefebvre and her husband Michael. Grandmother to Bernie (Huck), Molly, Monty, Vanessa and Pedro. Dear sister of Carol Cousineau. She was a graduate Cresskill High School Class of 1969. After graduating Bergen Community College and St. Peter's College, she worked as a nurse at Dunroven Nursing Home and the Bergen County Health Care Center. She was a member of the Cresskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps and routinely volunteered feeding the homeless. She was a member of Living Word Community Church in Dumont and the Good Samaritan Ministry and was a former member of Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church, Cresskill. All will meet at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Friday at 10AM for the funeral service at Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church, Cresskill at 11AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
