Margaret Dugan

Margaret Foyt Dugan, age 83, of Bergenfield, New Jersey, passed away in her home on November 4, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Frank Dugan. Devoted and proud mother of the “Dugan Boys” – Keith, Kenneth and Kirk Dugan. Loving mother-inlaw of Janice, Laura and Michele Dugan. Dear sister of Frank and William Foyt and the late Anne Marie Caracci. Fond sister-in-law of Mary Foyt and the late William Caracci and Doris Foyt. Adoring grandmother to Conor, Carly and Colin Dugan and Sophia Iovanella. Grandmother-in-law to Jamie Wilson Dugan. Margaret, otherwise known as Peggy Sue, was known as fiercely loyal, determined and generous beyond measure. She was a woman ahead of her time with an aptitude for numbers. She held positions in the treasurer department at The BOC Group and managed operations at Enor Corporation. Peggy Sue relished being a wife and mother. She was an avid reader, an exceptional cook and each year turned her backyard into a botanical garden. She loved to have comfort food warming in the oven and good wine “breathing” in her glass. But most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. The visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington, Ave, Bergenfield on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 2 to 6 PM. All will meet at St. John’s Church, 29 North Washington Ave, Bergenfield on Monday at 9:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Immediately following the burial, family and close friends are invited to raise a glass to a classy lady at Tommy Fox’s Public House, 32 S Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ. The "Dugan Boys" are genuinely outstanding gentlemen and a testament to their upbringing by Mrs. Dugan. Anyone lucky enough to become friends with this family realizes the strength that comes from within. I know she will be missed. Deepest condolences to the Dugan family during this difficult time.
