Martin H. Healy, 80, of Bergenfield formerly of Bronx, NY died on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. He was a graduate of Fordham University and a Korean War veteran. He was a Past Grand Knight of St. John's Council #1345 K of C, Dumont and a Fourth Degree member of Bishop O'Connor Assembly 0647. He was an active member of St. John's Church in Bergenfield. He was formerly with CBS as an accountant and retired as the Dean of Business Affairs at Passaic County Community College. Most recently Martin was active in the St. John's Food Pantry and was a Eucharistic Minister at Woodcrest Center Nursing Home in New Milford and the Veterans Home in Paramus. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Millicent. He was a devoted father to Ken, Audrey and her husband John Gallagher, Eileen and her husband Dave McHugh and Barbara Healy and a loving grandfather to Ryan, Kelsey and Jack Gallagher and Mary Kate McHugh. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Thursday at 10:30AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. John's Food Pantry in Bergenfield.
