Mary T. Lenihan

Mary Theresa Lenihan (nee Gannon), age 94, passed away July 28, 2021. Mary was born in County Leitrim, Ireland and emigrated to Bronx, NY in 1946 with her three sisters, Bridget Cullinane and Ann Jones (deceased) and Ellen Rodgers. She was married 59 years to her husband Benjamin who preceded her.  She is survived by her five devoted sons: Kevin (Mary) of Old Tappan, John (Cathy) of Harrington Park, Michael of Bergenfield, Donal (Christina) of Upper Saddle River and Brendan (Tammy) of River Edge and deceased daughter Margaret Siegel, survived by son-in-law Howard Siegel of Harrington Park. Mary is also survived by her beloved 14 grandchildren: Shawn, Timothy, Ryan, Andrew, Brian, Katie, Sara, Nicholas, Justin, Jaclyn, Catherine, Brigitte, Colin, Kalin and 10 great-grandchildren.  Mary wanted to wish all her family and friends a happy, healthy life and God’s Blessing.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Saturday July 30th at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 29 North Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ. Entombment at Garden of Memories, Washington Twp. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE SERVICE AT THE MAUSOLEUM). Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
