A Nationally ranked Scrabble player, he was the President of the Teaneck Scrabble Club. Beloved husband of Joyce DeCanio (nee Amelung). Devoted father of Lauren (and her husband Gregory) Marco, Dear brother of the late Anne Mahaffey. Loving grandfather of Anthony Marco. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Tuesday at 10AM followed by a private cremation. The family will receive friends on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
