Merian C. Winston (nee Jackson) on December 15, 2010 of Teaneck, NJ. Born in Harlem, NY, she was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, the Red Hat Society of Bergen County, the Teaneck Senior Citizen Center, the mid-Stuyvesant Rd. Block Association and was a Teacher's Assistant for the Teaneck Public Schools retiring in 1992. Beloved wife of the late LeRoy Winston. Devoted mother of Warren Winston and his wife Renee and Merrie Winston-Council and her husband Michael. Former mother in law of Novella Winston. Loving grandmother of Troy and Ryan Winston, Dale and Grace Council. Visiting at Church of the Good Shepherd, Prospect Ave. and New Bridge Rd., Bergenfield on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 12:30-1PM with the funeral service at 1PM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hackensack Inpatient Hospice. Arrangements are by Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield.
