Meryl Ambrosano, passed from this earth into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday afternoon, the 25th of August, at age 70. Born Meryl Levine in Brooklyn, New York, she is survived by her husband and dearest companion, Carl Ambrosano of Hawthorne, NJ. She is also survived by her older brother Kenneth Levine who still resides in Brooklyn. Meryl saturated herself in music and art all her life; she was the force that stood behind Carl to encourage him to move forward with his own music and art. In 1979, she came to embrace Christ as her Savior and she did so with a wonderful childlike love. Carl and her loved ones are greatly diminished by her passing but comforted by the knowledge that all the pain and depression are over, and that she rests in the arms of Jesus.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 30th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riewert’s Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Ave. in Bergenfield, NJ. Interment and a graveside service will take place Thursday August 31st at 11am at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Star of Hope Mission, Paterson, NJ.
