Mildred Patricia Rauch

Mildred Patricia Rauch, August 1, 1924 - May 30, 2010, 85, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Richard for 56 years. Devoted mother of Joseph and his wife Karen of Oradell, James and his wife Debra of Tenafly, Robert of Bergenfield, Thomas and his wife Dawn of New Milford, Stephen and his wife Mary of Chatham and Theresa Weissburg and her husband Bob of Highland Mills, NY. Loving grandmother of Victoria, Carolyn, Paul, Lisa, Richard, William, Timothy, Julia, Brian, Jenna, Phillip, Colleen and Fiona. Predeceased by her parents Frances and Philip Maguire and brother Robert. Prior to becoming a dedicated homemaker, she was a secretary. After raising her family for 30 years, she returned to work at the age of 60, where she became a computer whiz. She retired when she was 82. She enjoyed many trips with her husband to their beloved Lake George. Some of her happiest times were vacations at the Lake surrounded by her children and grandchildren. An avid reader who was never far from her Kindle; she also knit many afghans, sweaters and Christmas stockings for her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind friends and relatives of all ages whose lives she touched with her humor, love and support. All will meet at St. John the Evangelist R.C, Church, Bergenfield on Friday for the funeral Mass at 11AM. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So.
