Nicole Danielle Defero

Nicole Danielle Defero 33 passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 31, 2022. We are heartbroken and devastated at this loss. Nicole was born in Hackensack and was a lifelong resident of Bergenfield. After graduating from high school, she had a successful career with NVE Bank for close to a decade. She also worked at the VFW in Bergenfield doing everything from accounting to tending bar.  In the last year, she selflessly took care of  her loving grandmother. Nikki was beautiful inside and out. She had an infectious smile and laugh and always wanted to make others happy. In her spare time she loved to cook just like her mom. She loved her mom, dad, her dog Pugsley, sister Dede and brother in law Paul more than anything in the world. She was loved by her family, aunts, uncles cousins and friends. We know she is now resting comfortably at peace with her mom and dad.

Visiting will be at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington St. in Bergenfield, on Sunday April 3rd from 1-4 PM.
