Norah Tozzi

May 23, 1931 — November 2, 2024

Norah F. Tozzi, known affectionately as "Aunt Nonie", passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 93, in Oradell, NJ. Born on May 23,1931 in Manhattan, NY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Nora & Edward Fealy, Predeceased by her sister Kathleen Mullery and her husband John. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Muriel and Eddy Fealy.

Norah grew up in NYC and graduated from Morris High School. She moved to Bergenfield from the Bronx and later attended Felician College. She had a fulfilling career with NJ Bell (Verizon), where she formed many lasting friendships (Marietta V.) and connections.

Norah was a sweet, friendly, and exceptionally kind individual, known for her caring nature. Her personal joys included solving crossword puzzles, seeing movies, lottery scratch-offs, & shopping with her daughter. Recently she was a member of the Regency Memory Care Club in River Edge where she highly enjoyed all the events and activities as well as the people she met, By far though her favorite activity of all was going to Atlantic City to gamble. She was fortunate to have made her last trip there a week ago and had a beautiful day with her daughter and friends.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Christine, and companion Jerry who provided her with the best of care and comfort, her beloved son, Paul, and his wife Peggy. Norah was a beloved Aunt Nonie to her sister Kathleen's ten children who she adored. They often came to visit from out of state, sent a note or surprised her with flowers and gifts.

No funeral services will be held but in lieu of flowers, donations in Norah's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital which was a cause close to her heart. The family would like to thank all the employees at the Regency Memory Care Club for always being so patient and kind with our mom.
