Pedro E. Romero

Pedro Romero of Cresskill passed away on June 7th 2021 due to complications from COVID-19 and pneumonia at the age of 43. Pedro was born to Aracelis Padua and Pedro E Romero on February 19th 1978 and raised in Passaic. He attended Passaic High School and graduated in 1997. After working several jobs, Pedro found his calling for preaching and teaching in the ministry and served as Associate Pastor of Living Word Community Church, followed by starting his own Spanish church Iglesia Amigos de Cristo and later Friends of Christ Community Church in Bergenfield, where he served as Senior Pastor and also owned a cleaning company named Victory Cleaning Services in Bergenfield until his passing. Pedro is survived by sister Elisa Romero, nephew Johan Contreras and his loving wife Tammy Romero and their four children: Vanessa (12), Pedro (10), Victoria (8), and Ricardo (6). Pedro was a devoted family man, husband, father, and part time chess coach to his children. Pedro was a light of positive energy and an example of faith to everyone he came across. A celebration of Pedros life will be held at Living Word Community Church located at 53 E Madison Avenue Dumont NJ on Friday June 11th at 10:30 AM. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. NJ.
