Peter John Byrne, 76, on June 12, 2012 of Paramus formerly of Bergenfield. Born in Green Gates, Black Rock, Co. Louth, Ireland. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Bergenfield Elks Lodge #1477, B.P.O.E. Beloved husband of the late Mary "Maureen" C. Byrne(nee:Henry). Devoted father of Donna Sheppard, Maureen Zajicek, Margaret Byrne-Lynn, Karen Byrne, Peter J. and the late Thomas P. Byrne. Dear brother of Rose, Catherine, Breege, Owen, Gerry and the late Dympna and Paddy. Cherished grandfather of Mackenzie, Mairead, Kyle and Joey. Loving uncle of Vivienne and many nieces and nephews in Ireland. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 10AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
