Peter Vogel

Peter Vogel, "THE ONE MAN BAND" passed away on April 14th, 2010 after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his wife Anna of 42 years. Peter Vogel was born in a small town in Romania in 1920. It was here and in Vienna that he began his musical career and had been entertaining audiences for over 70 years with his amazing playing of the clarinet, saxophone, accordion and his great style of singing. His passion and profession was in music and will live on with his family forever. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather who will be missed greatly. Surviving are his daughter Lori Rowley from Georgia, son Karl Steiner from New Jersey, daughter Anne Replogle from New York, daughter Christa Diamant from Oregon and daughter Erika Eichmann from Germany. Grandchildren are Erik and Jon Steiner from New Hampshire, Taylor and Emily Rowley from Georgia and Lars Eichmann from Germany. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Saturday, April 24 at 10AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Mary's RC Church, Dumont at 11AM. Visiting Friday, April 23 1-4 and 6-9PM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
