Philip A. Hansen, 70, on November 4, 2011 of Bergenfield. Born in New York, NY, he was a cook for Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck retiring in 2006. Devoted husband of Dolores D. Hansen (nee Taskalos). Beloved father of Melissa V. Pomerantz and her husband Russ. Also beloved grandfather to his furry grandson, Benny Pomerantz. Cherished son of the late Ethel Gil. Dear brother of the late Thomas, John and Anna Smith and Patricia Seickendick. Dear brother-in-law of James Taskalos and his wife Marilyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Monday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Sunday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Assoc., 1031 Route 22 West, Suite 203, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
