Philip R. Renner

RENNER, Philip R., 92, on February 16, 2010 of Cresskill. Born in Tenafly, he was an Electrical Inspector for Mars Metal Co., Ridgefield Park`retiring in 1982. An Army Air Corp. veteran of WWII, he was a founder of the Hackensack Canoe and Kayak Club, a member of Bergenfield Memorial Post #6467 VFW, Northern Valley Chapter #32 D.A.V. and the Bergenfield Rod and Gun Club. Beloved husband of Geraldine M. (nee Wooley), Devoted father of Jacqueline L. and her husband Ronald E. Gilbert and David Renner and his companion Kate. Dear brother of Francis Prohaska, Kathleen Baker and Charles Renner. Loving grandfather of John-Paul S. Gilbert, Jordanne N. Renner and Chloe D. Gilbert. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Friday at 11AM. Interment Brookside Cemetery, Englewood. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
