Vetern of WWII, a member of Bergenfield Memorial Post #6467 VFW and a 13 year member of Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Beloved husband of the late Muriel C. Callahan. Devoted father of Nancy Bohn (her husband Fred and their children Lauren and Daniel), Susan Gillies (her husband Danny and their children Scott, Jaime and Bryan), Patricia Burdette (her husband Bob and their children Ryan, Casey and Kyle), Kevin (wife Maura and their children Shannon and Caitlin), Kenneth (wife Carol and their children Brittany and Clint), Kathleen Hajjar (husband Paul and their children Bobby and Dylan), David (his daughter Rachel) and the late Sean Callahan. Dear brother of Margaret Fitzmaurice and 6 deceased brothers and sisters. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Thursday at 9:30AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist Church, Bergenfield. at 10AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
