Richard C. Allen, 66, on July 27, 2008 of Dumont. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Enhance Painting, Dumont, since 1984 and prior worked for the NY Dept. of Sanitation from 1966-1984. Beloved husband of JoAnn P. Allen. Devoted father of Jason Allen. Dear brother of Linda Duscheid, Barbara Mohr and Stuart Allen. Memorial service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday at 7:30PM. Cremation was private. Memorial visiting Thursday 1-3 and 6-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 108 Brook St., Dumont, NJ 07628.
