Richard G. Garcia (54), of Bergenfield, NJ passed away on February 14, 2023.
Richard was born in a bedroom in Batasan, Pampanga, Philippines. A darling of the family, he was the first grandson of the Garcia and Guinto family. He had a very active life in the Philippines and was popular amongst his friends called Loggers. Known amongst his friends as Dawa. He was a student of Far Eastern University and at 21 years old he immigrated to America.
He had a charming personality and was generous to his family and the community. He was the son of Querico and Irene Garcia. He was preceded in death by wife Elisa B. Hernandez and survived by his children, Eric Garcia and Mikheela Garcia. Also his sisters, Cecil Mendoza, Jennefer Fudalan and Christina Tabuada.
Memorial visiting will be on Friday from 4-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 N. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Saturday at 11:30 AM followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
