Richard Knoeller, 92, of Teaneck, NJ passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Born in Jersey City, NJ on July 5, 1921 to the late Andrew C. and Catherine (Waters) Knoeller. Uncle Rich served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre on the Air Craft Carrier USS San Jacinto. He received his Bachelor and Master's Degrees from Steven's Institute of Technology. He was employed as an engineer for the M.W. Kellogg Co. and Stone and Webster both of New York, NY. Beloved uncle to Susan Cort and her husband Gene, Janet Werley and her husband Ronald, Debra Knoeller and Andrea Knoeller. Loving great uncle to John Werley and Susan Slater and her husband Andrew. He was recently a proud great grand uncle to Adalynn Slater. He was predeceased by his sisters Margaret Lee and Catharine DeMartino and brother Andrew Knoeller. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
