Rita M. Clare (nee Breer), 88 on November 3, 2007 of New Milford formerly of Ridgewood. Born in New York, NY, she was a parishioner of Church of the Ascension, New Milford and a member of the Rosary Society, a former parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church and a member of Project Pride in Ridgewood. Beloved wife of the late Augustus Clare. Devoted mother of Evelyn R. Van Curen and the late Patricia A. Mulholland and mother in law of Edward Van Curen, Sr. and Anthony Mulholland, Sr. Loving grandmother of Edward Van Curen, Jr., Anthony Jr., Patty and William Mulholland and great grandmother of Anthony and Natalie Van Curen and Kassandra and William Mulholland, Jr. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Wednesday at 10AM for the Funeral Liturgy at Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 10:30AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. The family will receive friends Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
