Robert "Bob" E. Gillies

Gillies, Robert(Bob) E., 87, on June 1, 2013 of Bergenfield. Born in Bergenfield, Bob served in the U.S. Navy in the Northern Atlantic during WWII and was a member of Bergenfield Memorial Post # 6467 VFW. He was the owner of Supreme Liquor Store in Bergenfield. He is survived by his beloved wife Peggy Gillies (nee:Steele), children, Ric and his wife Diane, Dan and his wife Susan, Ken and his wife Janet, Bobby, Janet Gillies, Terry McIndoe and her husband Mike and Peggy Jane and her husband Jim Albert. Twenty eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 326 New Bridge Rd., Bergenfield on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd or Bergenfield Memorial Post # 6467 VFW, 321 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ 07621.
