Robert C. Korn, 78, on February 1, 2013 of Bergenfield. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was Vice President of Infrared Heating Co in Irvington. A Navy Veteran of the Korean War, he was a parishioner, Eucharistic Minister and Catechist Leader for St. John's Church, Past President of Bergenfield Jaycees, Past President of the Bergenfield Republican Club, Past Chairman of the Bergenfield Recreation Committee, member Bergenfield Memorial Post #6467 V.F.W, very active in local activities and Special Education Programs and was a volunteer for the Englewood Hospital Hospice Program. Devoted husband of 55 years to Dorothy (nee Scheiss). Beloved father of Cathy Paris and her husband Stephen, Robert C., Jr. and his wife Liane, Wendy Lagstein and her husband Marvin and Tina Dore and her husband Joseph. Loving grandfather of Stephanie, Lauren, Kristy, Michael, Robert, Alexandra, William, Joseph, Anthony and Fara. Dear brother of Marion, Helen, Elizabeth, Dorothy, William, Adelaide, Edward, Frederick, Joseph, Dolores and Geraldine. Visiting Sunday 1-5 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Monday at 9 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10 AM. Entombment at Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, In lieu opf flowers, donations may be made to the Englewood Hospital Hospice Program.
