Robert J. McCready, 77, on July 23, 2011 of Paramus formerly of Bergenfield. Born in New York, NY, he was a Plumber for Union Local #14, Lodi retiring in 1994. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Bergenfield Elks Lodge #1477 B.P.O.E. Devoted husband of the late Marie McCready. Beloved father of Bobby McCready, Frannie Langschultz and Sharon McCready. Dear brother of John, Ronald and the late Gerald McCready. Loving grandfather of Christie, Ashley, Bobby, Thomas, Brendan, Croix, Morgan and Mason. Bergenfield Elks Lodge service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Wednesday at 8PM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Bergenfield Elks Lodge Crippled Children Fund.
