Roderick Williams, Sr., 79, on March 7, 2009 of Bergenfield. Born in New York, NY, he was a Detective Lieutenant for the NYC Police Dept. Narcotics Division retiring in 1978, after he owned Roderick Williams Private Investigation and was Dir. of Security for the Carlyle Hotel until 1994. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Patricia C. Williams. Devoted father of Roderick and his wife Judy Williams, Jr. Loving grandfather of Ian, Patrick, Connor, Roderick, III and Owen. Funeral services were private. Arramgements were by Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield.
