Rose S. Nersesian

Nersesian, Rose S., 92, of Lake Como, NJ (formerly of Bergenfield, NJ) died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. She worked at Gimbels 24 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Contemporary Woman's Club of Bergenfield where she held various positions, the last as communications chairwoman. Rose volunteered for over ten years in the Social Services Office at Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood and in later years assisted her daughter in fostering bichon frise dogs. Predeceased by her husband, George (1970), and her son, Arthur (1988). Rose is survived by her daughter, Susan Luterzo and her husband, Michael of Lake Como; four grandchildren, Krista Merschrod and her husband, Larry of Bergenfield; Peter Jarahian of No. Bergen; Michelle Travis and her husband John of AZ; Michael Nersesian of CA and a great granddaughter, Amber Rose Merschrod. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ. Contemporary Woman's Club service at 3PM and funeral service at 8PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers and Rose's love of the family dogs, donations may be made to the Delaware Valley Bichon Rescue, 711 Chapel Rd, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077
