Rose A. Shanahan nee Keaney 94 of Bergenfield passed away January 26, 2024. Born in Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Before retiring in 1994 she was a nurse's aid at Bergen Pines, Paramus for 20 years. Beloved wife of the late William. Devoted mother of Margaret McNamara and her husband Michael; Mary Biedermann and her husband Mark; Myles and Joseph. Loving grandmother of Michelle, Nicole, Thomas, Logan and Erin Rose. She was predeceased by her loving brothers and sisters. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, Wednesday morning at 9:30 for the funeral Mass at St. John’s RC Church, Bergenfield at 10. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
