Rowland F. Jones, 95, on October 4, 2009 of Bergenfield formerly of Yonkers, NY. Born in Yonkers, NY, he was a Manager for Phelps Dodge, Yonkers, NY. An Army Veteran of WWII, he fought at the Battle of the Bulge. Beloved husband of the late Mary T. Jones. Devoted father of Dorothy and her husband Sean Devlin, Mary E., Rowland J and his wife Rosalie and Christopher and his wife Lori Jones. Dear brother of Dorothy Diogardio, Loving grandfather of Allison Callahan, Anne Marie Schaefer, Karen Bronstein and Kerry Moritz and great grandfather of 8. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Wednesday at 9:30AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 PM. The family would like to thank the staff's of Care One at Dunroven and the Allendale Nursing Home for the wonderful care provided to their father.
