Teresa "Tessie" Cassar (nee Vassallo), 101, of Bergenfield passed away on November 30, 2014. Devoted wife of the late Charles Cassar. Beloved mother of John M., the late Alfred and his wife Madeline and Larry Cassar. Loving grandmother of Janet and her husband John Glennon, Donna and her husband George Gartside and Debra and her husband Bill Stevens and great grandmother of Matthew, Brian, Courtney, Mark, Stephen, Alexis and Kristen. Visiting on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Hackensack Cemetery.
