Theodore J. Cancalosi, Jr., 76, on April 11, 2010 of Bergenfield. Born in Jersey City, he was the owner/operator of Theodore J. Cancalosi Electrical Contractor, Bergenfield. He was a Eucharistic minister, Lector and former CCD teacher for St. John's Church, a former softball and soccer coach for the Bergenfield PAL, a member of St. John's Council #1345 K of C, Dumont and served in the US Army. Beloved husband of Cathleen (nee Pfeifer). Devoted father of Kate and her husband Tad Burke, Theodore J., III, Andrea and her husband Massimo Piazza and the late Philip and father in law of the late James W. Jakobsen. Dear brother of Jane and her husband Daniel Connelly, Margaret and her husband Nicholas Valenta, Ann Marie and her husband Paul Jakobsen and the late Andrew and Charles. Loving grandfather of James, Alessandra and Marissa. Also many nieces and nephews. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Friday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
