Thomas Martino

Martino, Thomas, 49, of Bergenfield passed away on Saturday, Dec.6, 2008. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, he moved to Englewood and finally making Bergenfield as his long time home. He quickly became an integral member of the community as a coach of several Little League and PAL Soccer Teams. Whenever needed Tom could always be found with a steady hand and a ready smile. His life simply revolved around his family and to most who were fortunate enough to know him quickly became his "family". Tom touched so many lives in countless ways. He will be dearly missed but our loss is truly Heaven's gain. Beloved husband of 24 years Barbara. Devoted father of Nicole and Erick. Cherished son of the late Katherine and Leonard. Dear brother of Anthony, John, Charles, Catherine and Mary. Loving son in law of Mabel Scherf, brother in law of Michael and Lynn Campbell, Howard and Nancy Bragg, Anthony and Deborah Bragg and Joseph and Patti Millosky. Also many nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield on Thursday at 10AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Wednesday 4-8PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield.
