Thomas P. McCann, 78, on March 6, 2009 of Dumont. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a Mechanic for New York City Transit Authority retiring in 1984, he then worked as a Custodian at Bergenfield High School from 1985-95. Beloved husband of the late Catherine J. McCann. Devoted father of Kelly A. Hill, Susan E. McCann, Catherine M. Schiraldi, Theresa M. McCann and Brian T. McCann. Dear brother of James and Michael McCann. Loving grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 3. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 9:30AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
