Vincent Daniel Murphy

MURPHY, Vincent Daniel - age 99 of Bergenfield died peacefully at home June 6, 2010. Mr. Murphy was born in New York City on March 3, 1911. He served proudly in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific. Vincent retired from United Parcel Service and was proud to receive many safe driving awards. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Catherine; his daughter Kathy and her husband Robert Banholzer; his son Robert Murphy and his wife Sara Kaul; his son Stephen Murphy and his wife Donna Scarlatelli; his daughter Patricia Murphy and Daryl Lee; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his sister in law Grace and her husband Dave Benson. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Thursday at 9am for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10am. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Holy Name Home Care/Hospice, 425 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
