Mearns (nee Lynch), Devoted father of Mary Anne Burns (her husband Kevin), Midge LeFanto (her husband John), Amy Hegel (her husband Tom) and Walter A. Mearns, II (his wife Michele). Dear brother of Mildred Mearns-O'Mahoney. Loving grandfather of Amy, Colin, Andrew, Daniella, Ryan, Christopher, Emily, Kenneth, Bobby, Brandon, C.J, Kelsey, Kyle and Kristi. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ on Monday at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield, NJ at 10 AM. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. St. John's Council #1345 K of C service at 8 PM.
