Walter Tatro

Walter Tatro, Jr., of New Milford, NJ passed away April 17, 2025. Walter enjoyed working with the Motion Picture Studios and retired from NJ Motor Vehicle Commission.

Walter was a devoted and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Walter had a generous and giving heart and was dedicated to taking care of his loved ones. Walter was a faithful donor to many charities to include but not limited to Tunnel To Towers, St. Jude's Children Hospital, Operation Smile, and The Native American Indian Center of Ohio.

Dear brother of the late Ann Qualey. Loving uncle of Donna Battista (John), John Tamborino, and the late Debra Leitner.

Godfather and great uncle of Lauren Leitner Beale (Brian). Loving great uncle of Melissa Monaco (Jason), Anna Phipps (Scott), John Battista, Ashley Collier (Chris), and great great uncle of Corey, AJ, and Camden. Close friend of Renata Da Silva and Godfather to Gabriela.

The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, Tuesday morning at 9:30am for the funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Bergenfield at 10am. Visiting Monday 4-8pm.
